  5. For Uthappam, mix the fermented batter well. On a hot tawa, add 1 ladle full of batter and press it gently to thick dosa.(Dont make it thin like dosa) Uthappams should be thick.

After a minute, sprinkle the veggie mixture all over the dosa. Be generous in adding onions for the uthappam to taste great. Gently press it with the dosa ladle or spatula. - Drizzle some ghee on sides, add some Idly podi(Optional). Once it is cooked on 1 side, flip it gently to other side and cook it on low flame for 1 min.
