  5. Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil - Tip in the gnocchi and cook until they float to the top about 10-15 seconds - Remove from the pan with a slotted spoon and set aside
  6. Fry the bacon in a shallow pan until crisp - Add in the gnocchi and stir though the pesto - Divide between two bowls and enjoy

Pour in the broth mixture, add cooked bacon, season with salt and pepper, and stir to combine. Cook the gnocchi according to package directions, drain and set aside. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Turn off the heat, transfer the bacon to a paper towel lined plate and drain all grease from the pan.
