The ingredients needed to make Kara vadai:
  1. Prepare 1 cup Peas split -
  2. Take Bengal gram - 1/4cup
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup Urad dal -
  4. Take garlic pods -3
  5. Take Chopped ginger
  6. Get Green chilli - as per your taste
  7. Get Salt
  8. Get leaves Coriander
  9. Take Chopped onion

Steps to make Kara vadai:
  1. Soak all dhals in water for 2hours.
  2. After 2 hours drain the water & grind it mixer or grinder by sprinkling little water.Add garlic pods while grinding.
  3. Tansfer the mixture to a bowl. Add salt, chopped onion, ginger, green chilli & coriander leaves. Mix it well
  4. Heat kadai, add oil to deep fry the balls.
  5. Make balls with the mixture and deep fry it. After it turns to golden brown remove it from oil. Make sure the flame should not be too high.
  6. Kara vadai is ready to serve with tea. The outer layer will be crispy and inside it will be soft.
