Shaping and steam cooking Veg momos: To make outer covering dough, mix all purpose flour and salt in a bowl, knead into a smooth yet stiff dough by adding little water at a time.   2. Get 1 cup maida,
  3. Prepare 1tbsp oil,

  8. Take as required ,small bunch coriander leaves

From last few years, Momos are getting very popular in other parts of India and you can easily prepare them at home by either steaming or deep frying. Arrange the momos on the stand, one in each receptacle. Fill water in the pressure cooker upto an inch from the base. Heat the pressure cooker to bring the water to a boil, then set the heat to low.

Instructions to make Veg Momos:
  1. Chop garlic, green chillies and ginger.few coriander leaves too.Chop cabbage and grate carrots.Take a kadai add garlic and saute then add ginger and green chillies.
  2. Saute garlic, ginger and green chillies. Once everything is cooked add cabbage saute for sometime. Do not overcook. Add carrot n saute for few minutes then add coriander leaves saute and add salt n off the stove.
  3. Take 2cups wheat and 1cup maida mix n knead adding salt and water. Once you made dough add oil n knead finely. Set for 15min. Setting is compulsory.
  4. Make small balls and press to make small rotis then make a round shape with a cutter or steel bowl. Keeps cabbage carrot mixture and give a shape to the momo like modak.
  5. Make momos like given in picture
  6. Grease the steamer and put all momos n steam for 10min. Do this in batches.
  7. Make momos red chutney and serve.
